Before Your Appointment
A little prep helps.
If possible, send photos when you request your quote. They help me understand what needs cleaning and the overall condition before we schedule the job.
- Point out the spots or areas you're most concerned about.
- Let me know about pet accidents or odor concerns before the appointment.
- Keep the area around the item reasonably accessible when possible.
What to Expect
When I arrive.
I'll look at the item and its condition before starting. If anything changes what we discussed from the photos, I'll talk it through with you before moving forward.
The cleaning itself depends on the item, material and condition. I'll focus on the areas that need attention and work toward the best realistic result.
Drying Time
How long will it take to dry?
Most upholstery dries naturally in about 6–8 hours, though drying time can vary depending on the material, airflow, humidity and how much moisture was needed during cleaning.
Stains & Odors
Some marks come out. Some don't.
I always work toward the best realistic result, but I don't promise that every stain or odor will disappear completely.
Results can depend on the material, what caused the problem, how long it has been there and how deeply it has reached.
If there's a specific stain or odor you're concerned about, send a photo and tell me about it when requesting your quote.
Pet Accidents
Tell me about them before the appointment.
If your couch, chair, mattress, carpet or area rug has had a pet accident, mention it when you request your quote.
What can be achieved depends on the material, how much reached it and how long the problem has been there.
Knowing about it beforehand helps me understand the job more accurately before you book.
After Cleaning
Give it time to dry.
- 01Allow cleaned upholstery to dry fully before regular use.
- 02Good airflow can help natural drying.
- 03Avoid using upholstered furniture while it is still noticeably damp.
- 04If Fast Drying was added, follow the drying estimate I give you at the appointment.
Different materials and conditions can dry at different rates.
Still Have a Question?
Not sure about something? Just ask.
Every piece of furniture and every cleaning job is a little different. Send me a photo and tell me what you're concerned about.
